So, We went through the Temple on the 27th. I can still not even talk about it with out crying. It was so good for us. And now we get to keep our sweet family for all eternity. I am so thankful for Rye and Holden, and all our family and friends. We had so much support. (mert I Missed ya!) What A special day! We went home to Utah so we could be with family. While we were home we were able to go and spend some time with Ryes Family in Nevada at their Ranch, and It was soooooo Fun!!! I love riding, and we were able to do some and just have some fun. We got to just sleep out there the whole time. Rye's family is so great! HOlden would wake up and run for the door, ready to play with the animals and throw rocks! We also really enjoyed my family. I love seeing my brothers and sister. Rye's sister also got married over the weekend, and it was so beautiful and fun!!! I loved seeing all the wood's and fitzwaters (cassie, I had a blast with you!!!) Russell, Cassie, joe, jessica and I did some major dancing!! all in all we had a great visit home. And will always cherish the 27th......

Fun weekend, and Mothers day!

Happy Mothers Day to all you wonderful mothers!!!! By far the hardest job on this earth would have to be being a mother, so way to go! Well, I just thought that I would post a little of a lot....if that makes sense. Rye was able to get a couple of days off in a row, and we were so happy! We went out riding and to the carnival, and we went to Mesa Verde national Park, Which was amazing! I have been all over the country seen beaches and waterfalls, and you get the point, and this was by far the coolest thing ever. So much history! It was just fun to see some amazing Indian history, and I had seen pictures throughout my whole life and always wanted to go there. We were able to do a ton of hiking to, which kinda sucked because we forgot Holdens baby pack :( We had a great weekend though. I had to post my mothers day card from Holden;) because I about died laughing. Rye is such a sweet man, he spoiled me this mothers day. But Holdens card and balloon was by far the best.....The pictures will explain!

You are probably wondering the same thing I was....What the heck does that balloon have to do with mothers day, and than I read the card! What a wierdo!!!!!

We had some new family pictures taken last week for something my mom is doing for us for when we go through the temple next month(YAY!!!). I asked Ricci Harvey to take them, and so she drove all the way from Durango to take them. (What a great friend I have!) She did such a great job. I scrapbooked them and thought I would post them for the grandmas.......

We had such a great trip home. It was such a fun surprise that we were able to go home for Easter. We didn't find out until the day we went home, but we were happy! We went home on thursday. Friday I went shoping with my mom and sisters. It was so nice just to be with them. Sat. was such a blast. Holdens first Easter! Rye took him to the annual Enterprise shin-dig, which was scary for him, ha ha. Then we headed to Saint George for the Moyle Easter get together. It was so fun. We hadn't seen most of them since Christmas. Holden had a blast! (As you can see above) He was on his third easter egg hunt for the day, and was finally getting the hang of it! Sunday was nice, We got to go spend some time with Ryes family, it was soooo nice. We were so Thankful that we were able to see everyone, even if it was for only two days. We cant wait until the end of May, so we can spend some good time!

Family Trip

We had such a fun family trip. We only had two days, ha ha, so we did all we could. We went to Albuquerque Friday, and swam and had a great time. Holden loved the water, and Rye and I made some crazy friends! Rye had racing competitions with a bunch of little girls, it was pretty funny. We also went to the zoo. I loved it!!! There were so many animals. Holden was in shock the whole time. It was so beautiful. After that we watched the free-style motocross competition. Holden was in heaven! He loved it. There was a live band, and Holden just rocked out the whole time. Everyone around fell in love with him. Even the gangsters sitting behind us. He had all the old ladies wrapped around his little finger, kisses and all. It was a ton of fun.

Happy Birthday sweety pie!

We celebrated Holdens first Birthday!! Rye and I were so exited, probably way more than Holden was, ha ha. All day was a fun day for him. When Rye got home we had his party. We wish so bad you all could have been there for it. We had two cakes one big one (for Rye and I ha ha) and Holden had his own mini cake, rye insisted. We sang him happy birthday and before we could finish he grabed the cake. So we had cake before opening the gifts. Thats why he is dressed different in the pictures, he had to take a bath before opening presents. He loved all his new trucks and even his clothes. But the second he saw his big tonka truck from grandma deb, he was gone. After we went out and ate and he got some more good stuff. It was so fun! And notice my beautiful flowers in the background! I have the best mother-in-law! (love you Deb) Holden made me push him around in his tonka truck! He loved it. There is also a picture of his cute lil' cake.

I feel good!!!

I just had such a fun day with Holden today! And thought Hey i will blog about that! Well, first of all I better explain why I am such a happy girl lately. Honestly I feel like a whole new person, and let this be a lesson to you all. I will hurry and explain, take care of your teeth!!!!!! last year this month I had a cavity, and got it fixed, keep in mind I was 9 months prego, but anyway the dentist did a bad job and made my feeling way to big and it was touching the nerve in my mouth and irritating it. With in a week my tooth had abscessed (dont know how to spell that) But it was so painful, I would rather have a baby! It was so bad because not only was it abscessed but my nerve was infected because of the iritation. Anyway I went to two dentists and they said nothing was wrong, because it wasnt decayed at all, and they didn't catch the nerve thing. Anyway I dealt with it for a year. On the 7th of this month, my birthday, it happend again. I wanted to die! But I had not felt good for months, my chest hurt so bad, and I always felt so sick, and I had lost so much weight. That night I was so sick that i just barfed and criedbecause I was in so much pain!, and my temp. was 103. So Rye took me to the emergency room and they helped a little, by making the pain go away, but I went to a dentist the next day and he about died. The infection had spread clear up my face. And he said the poison from your teeth really puts stress on your heart, damages it, and when the infection gets to your brain you will die!! he said a kid in Farmington just died last week because of one! ahh scary hu. My chest pains were so bad! But now we took care of the infection, got rid of that awful tooth, and I feel so different. (I really miss my tooth though :( For the past year I have been just feeling worse and worse, and just had not felt like "me" . I cant believe the difference in me, I finally feel like Portia!!!

We went on a walk today! He was so dang cute. He cant quite walk yet, so he pushed his grocery cart all the way to the park, where you can see (above) he figured out that dirt tasted bad!!! He took a big bite, and I watched him just freeze.......for like 30 sec.......because he was like in shock!

Holdens First steps!!!

So we have this child.....This boy is insane but we love him!! He is so much like both of us it makes us laugh all the time. He is so strong for a little kid, and really taugh. He feels no pain! Its actaully really wierd. His first birthday is coming up soon, and I am so exited. He's going to be getting his fist tonka truck, and he is going to love it! He already drives anything, and everything around the kitchen (trucks, brushes, books, brooms, everything!) and he makes the driving noise. He is a mommys boy though! It makes me happy, I think I would feel bad if he liked Rye more ha ha. But daddys his 2nd favorite! He makes me so exited to have another one. Anyway I will most some pictures of him, so I can show him off, lol!
