What weve been up to=)

It is time I do a general update of everyone.  I'm getting bad at that.  But here is our latest happenings:

Holden:
Loves, loves, loves school and his teacher.  He comes home with so many new things he is so excited to tell me about.  He is picking up on everything.  It has been so interesting to see him and his taste grow up.  He wants to do things like make books, have me print him homework papers, go collect cool rocks, ex.  He is just getting so old.    He has a few girls  that he refers to as his "Girls". One he calls his girlfriend. He is so funny,  When I take him to school and wait for the bell to ring, little girls will run up to him and say hi, or push him, or something, and he wont acknowledge them! haha!  He gets so embarrassed and tries so hard not to smile at them.  I think he is worried about me =)   He has friends but still choses Knox over anyone to play with.  That makes me happy. He is really smart.   He has loved having his daddy around more, and constantly hangs on him.  He is turning into a knowitall.  Drives me NUTS.  He knows "everything"....ya know that stage.  He will argue with me over what day it is, and he truly thinks I am wrong!  Rather then that he is perfect......

Knox:
I have loved my time with him alone.   He has to.  He has turned so much more into a mommas boy.  He is completely potty trained, has been for a while.  He had to do it his self though.  He loves nursery, and his grandmas in there.  We told him the two old ladies who work in there were just his grandmas and he has gone happily since.  Wish we would have thought of that sooner!  He sings and sings and sings!!  Mainly church songs.  He is so funny!  And has my exact sense of humor.  We were in JC penny and there was a girl manikin.  And I said come on Knox, and out of nowhere he says "Who are you? your not my mom, This is my mom (Hes now  holding hands with the manikin!)  Mommy, you are so pretty, tell that grandma to just go away (referring to me)!"  He went on and on!  Sticking to his role, and had everyone laughing.  He is already so whitty.  He loves his big brother.  He is in LOVE with the baby though.  He is surprisingly very excited.  He is constantly touching my belly, kissing and talking to it.  He prays for the baby and is always talking about what he and the baby will do together. He can always get Rye and I lauging....Everyone loves this little stinker.

Rye:
He is doing great in school. He has already this semester finished I think 10 credits.   It is hard for him, but he is still one of the top in his program.  It is all so fast moving and they have so much to retain.  He loves it though, but I think he is missing full time work. He loves our calling as sunday school teachers together. He has spent some good time with the boys and loves doing so.  He has been so good to me, and my whininess, occasional crying for no reason, and our messy house.  Good guy =)

Me:
Im hanging in there.  Pregnancy is not wonderful to me.  Ive gained more weight in this pregnancy then my others combined! I don't have one pair of jeans even my old maternity jeans that I can fit on over my legs.....  Its just been so different in every way.  BUT, I am more excited then I have ever been!  I cant wait to have this baby here in the next three months!!  I love feeling him move, he is a mover.  I love wondering what he is going to look like.    I love being a mom.  I love making bread lately.  I don't love living on the third floor in an apartment.....I hate it.  I am learning to like ELko.  Oh, and I have to add That I reached my goal this last month, and I have not touched my hair in three years!!  It isn't necessarily pretty, haha!  But I promised myself (after an awful haircut) that I wouldn't for three years and I did it.  Kinda a big deal for someone that could mess with there hair three times in a months time!

Anyway, we are so excited for fall! Since Hoge started school we have "family movie night/party" every Friday.  It has been fun.  But for October, we are calling it Fright night.  We will make a fun Halloween treat, craft and watch a spooky movie.  (Im totally reminding myself of my mom as I write this!)  But Im gonna document, so anyone who wants should join us!

Six Years!

Six years down, eternity left to go!  Can you believe Rye and I have been married for 6 years!  It makes me so happy, and the picture above makes me so happy to (engagement)  Probably my most cherished picture I own....
Right now in my life these are the reasons I love my husband more then ever, and am enjoying our life together:

*We need each other so bad!  People think we are so annoying, but we are hermity and love being with each other, and rely on each other for everything.
*We still laugh every night.  We put the boys to bed, and can just talk and laugh, just like when we dated. We still talk on the phone everyday like in highschool to.
*We both love children, especially ours.  He gave me the most perfect children for me, that I adore more then anything on this earth!  For that alone I will always love him.
*He lets me getaway with murder.....honestly all of them do, I guess it has something to do with being the only girl in the family!  There are some perks to that=)
* We have the best/funnest calling ever!  We team teach sunday school, and it has been so fun for us.  He is my favorite person in class=)
* Oh, the things he's put up with the last 6 months.  I have been a troll roaming the house in sweats and a grumpy attitude and he still loves me and babies me.  He is still such a cutie too!
*Were both happy right now.  He is especially happy, which makes me especially happy.

SO Happy Anniversary to my husband!

And these two (almost 3) little fellas are our greatest accomplishment! We must be doin something right =)

Labor day weekend

We had a fun little getaway out at Ryes parents ranch.  We have missed it out there so much since we moved from Eureka.  We had a blast.  Ryes parents were out there and so was aunt Emmie.  (Ryes sister)  We just played and visited.  The boys LOVED spending time with grandma Debbie and telling her scary stories while roasting marshmallows.  We rode horses a bit, well they did =) don't have the bladder for that these days.  drove tractors, and went on  a long four-wheeler ride and picnic.  It was a great/relaxing long weekend.  The boys needed some fresh air and to get dirty, so it was perfect!

On our way home we just found this Haul truck off the side of the highway, and Rye wanted the boys to check it out, haha!  Rye said this is a "baby truck"  He said its tiny compared to the ones out at the mine, and a shovel (what he worked on) is about 7 times the size and weight as this truck!  To bad the boys couldn't go to work with daddy hu.
