May-july

Well, it's been a while!  We have had so many big changes to.  Rye graduated college (In May)!! Woot Woot!  During graduation one of the speakers was talking about how this is a huge accomplishment and some of us worked harder then others...and literally when he said that I had a melt down, its like it all caught up to me and I could finally cry! Its so hard just stopping your entire life for two years and cramming 4 + years of work into 2.  I literally had no husband, a pregnancy, a new baby, surgery's, two moves, major church callings, financial stress, marriage stress, you freaking name it!  Rye had his equal share of stress to, literally he was at school or working all day every day all year long for two years!  BUT we did it, and he did so good!!! We did good, and got through it with our little family.  He had an amazing job offer before he even graduated. I'm so proud of him.  He is such a wonderful man, and provider. He is going to get his bachelors of business next year, while he works.  He only has 6 more classes.  He figures he might as well. He got pretty dang good at that school thing.  He is loving work, except all the over time.  It just feels so good to have a job, and good paychecks, and insurance, and everything else...School stinks, do it while your young. Don't wait until you have three kids.  One kid would even be easy, I remember going to school when Holden was little and thinking it was stressful, if I only knew. I did get straight A's this last semester =) , Ryes grades are better then mine though and he took double the credits, haha.  It was kind-of humbling having him proof read all my papers and do so much of my homework.  He literally would go to work and work on my homework during his spare time with his buddy.  haha!  I only got A's because of him.  He literally did every single one of my Physics Labs...I know I'm pathetic, but seriously guys...3 kids, and primary is not school compatible.

May was so stressful.  During finals we had the stress of our lease running up a week after graduation,  We had to get out of our apartment because we no longer qualified living there since we weren't in school, and our kids literally were going crazy, as were we.  I DID NOT want to leave our ward,  it still is a touchy subject for me (Primary)  But we lucked into an amazing home in Spring creek.  It is just right outside of elko.  We have wanted to move out here, it seamed more like "us".  We were right!  We LOVE it.  Our home has been so fun.  We are in town but on 3 acres.  There are corrals and a chicken coop, trees, and grass.  A huge fun driveway for trikes and bikes.  It is very private and Rye has a shop.  We are renting, but if we stay in the area we hope to buy it.  Our boys have been in heaven!  We can finally have pets, they play outside swimming, shooting their bb guns, camping outside,  and running around in their undies all day.  It is heavenly.  I was devastated to move wards. I cried the first two sundays in our new ward, and still get emotional when I Think about my kids.  What a blessing it was for me to get to serve in that calling, even if it wasn't for that long.  I feel like I learned 10 years worth of lessons!

Anyway, were good. We are just so happy=)  During all the commotion of moving Race broke my camera (again a very touchy subject for me)  I cried for two days straight. May was such a bad month, haha! I had just gotten a new lens, and learned so much in my classes.  I have missed taking pictures so much, these last few months.  I didn't realize what a big part of my life it was.  But here are pictures from graduation, then random happenings from the last two months, pictures I took with my phone =)  I know blogging died, but hope everyone is good.

My family came to visit, almost everyone!  They did yard work, grandma cleaned, and we played.
Our 3 little kittens.  Tommy, Obi, and Zane.  The boys named them, and love them lots.
Holden is so sweet and takes such good care of Race.  Race makes him read to him every single day.
 yard campouts are a favorite.
 Funny story:
So The boys had gotten out their bb guns, and I being the wonderful mom I am, I  was like "You guys can go bird hunting!"  They were reading the book the Hatchet, and so they were all excited!  So they wondered the yard and the sagebrush with no luck.   I go to check on them, and they express their stress of not being able to get anything let alone get an opportunity to aim....I have to "embellish"  a lot in order to keep my boys busy.  SO I was like "Guys, guys you gotta be quite and sneaky and crouch down and wait.....wait for them to come to you.  Here let me show you how it's done, your mother is pretty much a sniper."  I was trying to sound all hunter like.
So literally we were in the driveway, its lined with trees.  And we all crouched down against the van, JUST right in the driveway.  They were all excited and whispering. Literally with-in 3 seconds I aimed the BB gun up......and  shot a huge exotic bird!!  I shot it....And it falls.  We all went quite, and I looked at Holden and his Mouth hit the ground.  He was speechless, and had a look of pure disgust on his face, and I was speechless and in shock, and couldn't believe what I just did, then Knox, after about 5 seconds of pure silence screams "MOM!! YOUR THE BEST SNIPER EVER!!!!"    I about died.  I felt so bad!  I never imagined they would ever get a bird, I just wanted them to spend all day trying, and I certainly didn't want to kill a bird, let alone a big pretty bird....WORST mom, I swear.  I just was not thinking at all.......My boys think Im pretty awesome though
The end=)
